There are so many ways to incorporate personal touches into your wedding day. Adding your favourite song lyrics to your reading, including your new monogram on your dinner napkins, and serving up a signature cocktail are simple ways to elevate your special day. Having a unique drink named just for the two of you allows your personalities to shine through and offers a chance to be fun and playful.

Meaningful

One wonderful way to bring your personality and life into your wedding day is to incorporate heirlooms and any other sentimental pieces you have!

For instance, a wedding we planned in Cheshire last year for a couple called Charlo and Arman, the Bride’s father had left her a note that read “I love you more than you could ever imagine. I will always make sure you are taken care of.” They actually ended up printing the note in his handwriting onto the ribbon for her bouquet! It was such a beautiful way to honour her father and it was incredible to be there to witness the genuine moments that were created from it!

Setting The Scene

Another element I strongly advise couples to look more into is; Lighting – it’s one of the most impactful investments you can make in your wedding.

From fairy lights and candles to uplighters and centrepiece pin spots, paying a little attention to your wedding lighting can add drama, ambience, and really draw attention to an ornate venue or make a simple setting, all the more special.

For example, a personalised monogram projected to your marquee entrance / top table backdrop or dancefloor will make your location yours and totally unique.
