The wedding industry has been shaken up during 2020.  Yet we have seen a rise in creativity and imagination, from couples and event organisers alike. Due to restrictions, many people have chosen extravagant Zoom weddings or scaled down ceremonies to tie the knot. It is clear that couples still want to marry, in spite of the current climate. One thing is for sure, wedding trends post Covid-19 will see a noticeable change. We have noticed a shift towards creating meaningful experiences, reconnecting with friends and family and providing a truly personal wedding experience. The pandemic has encouraged brides-and-grooms-to-be to focus on values that truly matter. Wedding trends 2021 are therefore likely to be geared towards sustainability, supporting local businesses and philanthropy. That is exactly why our latest wedding shoot was truly special.

The Venue

The wedding shoot took place at the stunning Delamere Manor, located in beautiful Cheshire countryside. It is one of the most sought-after wedding venues, boasting stunning views with a personal touch. There are plenty of rooms to choose from and the venue can be truly customised to your ideal wedding. Despite the opulent venue design, Delamere Manor has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The venue invites you to feel at home and helps you to design a wedding experience to suit your needs. There is a luxury suite with five fully equipped bedrooms, so you can relax after celebrating your special day. The remote location creates the feeling of a luxury getaway, without leaving the country.

The look

Keeping in line with 2021 wedding trends, the suit was hired from Groom Hire. A perfect option if you’re wanting to be sustainable yet suave on your big day. Bridal accessories were lovingly provided by Cassie Mcclymont, while hair and makeup was beautifully done by Cassie M Bridal. The stunningly designed floral arrangements were created by Boujee Boxes.

Everything from the bridal dresses and accessories to design and planning by Dale Alexander Events, reflect the predicted wedding trends post Covid with sustainable, yet opulent clothing, pastel accents throughout, and supporting local and independent freelancers and businesses.

To complete the atmosphere, the shoot included neon signage from Love Lights The Way, stationery by Jelly Press, crockery, glassware and cutlery by Whitehouse Crockery, selfie mirror from Exceed Events and chairs by Chairman Hire.

The food

The wedding cake for the shoot was provided by Bloomsbury Cakes. This local cake making company create stunning, bespoke designs. For this shoot, the cake was decorated in a marble finish with white and gold roses, combining classic and contemporary influences. Delamere Manor also work with Cheeky Chilli to design a menu that is tailored to your taste and dietary requirements. One of the key wedding trends 2021 is a move towards vegan and vegetarian menus, so it’s important to work with a catering company that can provide that for you.
